Installation deception ?

2008 grosse déception .
Trois tentatives d'installation trois échecs , plantage à 28% , 49% et 36% (avec paramètres sécurisés) . Pour la 2007 ça n'avait pas marché du premier coup mais c'était passé. P 3 à 550 ce n'est pas très jeune , mais où est
l' intérêt  de Pardus alors ? D'autre pingouins on ils les même problémes?
J'avais bien aimé la 2007 , peut on faire une mise à jours ? Merci , cordialement à tous .

Quelle est la quantité de mémoire vive du PC ?
Plus que le processeur, c'est souvent le facteur limitant.

192 , c'est peu et en plus je ne peux même pas avoir l'adsl , quelle misére d'habiter dans un trou .Je me suis un spécialisé dans les vieux ordis et les distributions qui peuvent aller  avec . Je n'avais pas testé la 7.3 .Salut

Je pense que ça vaut le coup de rajouter une barrette de mémoire vive.

Installation sur un Athlon XP 2000 avec 256mo de ram, aucun problème !

Si plantage à l'installation, je dirai soit un défaut de gravure du CD soit, plus classique,  la ou les barrettes de mémoire défectueuse(s) ! A vérifier avec memtest.

Sinon, c'est vraiment une belle distribution !

Rajouté une barrette de 256 m , ça passe , mais ce qui m'ennuie un peu c'est le temps d'installation , deux heures trois quart , Ubuntu 8.04  50 minutes .
Temps d'ouverture et lancement des applications idem sur les 2 . Participant à l'animation d'un atelier Linux au sein d'une asso , cela me semble un peu un handicap pour faire des démonstrations . Quel peut être l' intérêt  de l'une par rapport à l'autre , je vais comparer en me plaçant du point de vu d'un simple utilisateur . Si quelqu'un a déjà un point de vu qu'il nous le donne ça fera avancer les choses . Merci et salut à tous .

Plus de trois heures d'installation est rédhibitoire pour une démonstration en effet. Il y a peut-être une trace du problème dans le fichier-journal de l'installation ?
